Nothing is uploaded. Everything is measured inside your browser and forgotten.
LUFS to BS.1770-4 / EBU R128. True peak 4x oversampled. All measurement is an estimate; trust your ears last.

Free browser audio tools — the Rites

The Rites are free audio tools that run entirely in your browser — no account, no install, and nothing uploaded. Separate a song into stems, make slowed + reverb or nightcore edits, chop samples into pads, measure your mix against a reference, and wash the mud out of a muddy track. Every rite processes your audio on your own machine and forgets it afterwards.

The Reckoning — free mix analyzer and LUFS meter

The Reckoning measures your mix in the browser — integrated LUFS, true peak, dynamic range, stereo image and tonal balance — against any reference track you trust. Nothing is uploaded.

Read more about The Reckoning

What it does

The Reckoning measures what your ears can miss. Load a mix or master and it reports loudness (integrated LUFS to EBU R128 / BS.1770-4), true-peak level (4x oversampled), dynamic range, stereo width and tonal balance across the spectrum. Add a reference track and it shows where yours sits against it, so you know what to fix before export or mastering.

How to use it

  1. Drop your track into Your Track (WAV or AIFF read most accurately).
  2. Optionally drop a reference track you trust.
  3. Hit Reckon.
  4. Read your LUFS, true peak, dynamics, stereo and tonal balance next to the reference.
  5. Adjust your mix and re-run until it sits where you want.

Good for

  • Checking loudness before uploading to Spotify, YouTube or SoundCloud
  • Catching true-peak clipping before export
  • Matching your mix to a reference track
  • Sanity-checking a master's dynamics and stereo width

Questions

Is it free?

Yes. Every rite on MEME PLUGINS is free to use.

Is my audio uploaded?

No. Everything is measured inside your browser with the Web Audio API and forgotten; the file never leaves your machine.

What LUFS should I target?

Streaming platforms normalise around -14 LUFS integrated; masters often land between -14 and -8 depending on genre. Trust your ears last.
